INFILL CONSTRUCTION INFORMATION   

 

 

INFILL RATES

​

Ste. Anne Gas Co-op Ltd. (SANG) infill contract rate covers costs and services up to and including the meter set during the construction season.  All contract rates are for a maximum connected load of 1 GJ/Hr.

Please note, should the cost of a rural installation exceed $30,000.00, the contract holder will be responsible for any additional cost over $30,000.00 (commercial installations are responsible for ALL construction fees in excess of the infill rate).

Any yard lines after the meter to other buildings (referred to as secondaries) are the contract holder’s responsibility and will be at the contract holder’s expense; however, SANG would be happy to assist with secondary construction.

CONSTRUCTION SEASON/OFF SEASON CONSTRUCTION

The SANG construction season is May 1 to October 1.  Due to the nature of completing construction during the off-season, any requests to be completed outside the standard season will be subject to a minimum, non-refundable off-season construction premium.

CONSTRUCTION HEAT (TEMPORARY HEAT)

​

Supplying construction heat requires multiple additional site visits.  Riser positioning must be appropriate prior to requests for construction heat being approved.  Construction heat connections will be subject to a minimum of the standard Field Service Fee for each site visit following utility installation.  A Construction Heat Permit will also be required.

METER CONNECTION

​

All new meter connection requests will require a gas permit and Service Completion Notification or witness an air test that has been completed by an appropriate Journeyman.  Services that have been disconnected for greater than six months will also require a Service Completion Notification or witness an air test that has been completed by an appropriate Journeyman prior to reconnection.  SANG will require access to complete a cursory inspection.  A permit may also be required.
